Attempted to have my field plowed today by the farmer boy down the street. It did not work out as he brought the tractor and three bottom plow to the winter wet soil, the sogginess could not sustain the weight of his bigger Deere and three bottom deep plow. I was thinking of suggesting my one bottom plow, which I have on my old Ford tractor. I recalled Doug the previous farmer here, saying he never plowed before may in the spring. I think we all were a bit disappointed when he tried and stuck, tried and stuck again and saw the all mud around his wheels. The paper on Criminology is making better progress. What a dramatic impact drugs have on our society and man in general. I am realizing what a distraction from the real work. Looking for an example to Mexico' s struggles with drug cartels and horrendous murders due to trafficking. In this country the need for illicit drugs has caused a spike in crime rate since the 1980's and cost 233 % increase in our prison costs. The solution is not apparent either. But the problem and demand for arms and money increases due to the drug cartel's turf wars. The community could be better served. But like the farm tractor, the task is in front of it but mud overcomes the effort.
