Attempted to have my field plowed today by the farmer boy down the street. It did not work out as he brought the tractor and three bottom plow to the winter wet soil, the sogginess could not sustain the weight of his bigger Deere and three bottom deep plow. I was thinking of suggesting my one bottom plow, which I have on my old Ford tractor. I recalled Doug the previous farmer here, saying he never plowed before may in the spring. I think we all were a bit disappointed when he tried and stuck, tried and stuck again and saw the all mud around his wheels. The paper on Criminology is making better progress.
