Attempted to have my field plowed today by the farmer boy down the street. It did not work out as he brought the tractor and three bottom plow to the winter wet soil, the sogginess could not sustain the weight of his bigger Deere and three bottom deep plow. I was thinking of suggesting my one bottom plow, which I have on my old Ford tractor. I recalled Doug the previous farmer here, saying he never plowed before may in the spring. I think we all were a bit disappointed when he tried and stuck, tried and stuck again and saw the all mud around his wheels. The paper on Criminology is making better progress. What a dramatic impact drugs have on our society and man in general. I am realizing what a distraction from the real work. Looking for an example to Mexico' s struggles with drug cartels and horrendous murders due to trafficking. In this country the need for illicit drugs has caused a spike in crime rate since the 1980's and cost 233 % increase in our prison costs. The solution is not apparent either. But the problem and demand for arms and money increases due to the drug cartel's turf wars. The community could be better served. But like the farm tractor, the task is in front of it but mud overcomes the effort.

Monday morning, bright, sunny and cold I am working on a criminlogy paper which involves a theory which appears different than the usual humantistic approaches to social ills. But underneath the surface its is much the same and represents just a spattering of various empirical philosophies. I will try to insert a more Kantian base intentionality into the behavior modification plan.
Once I have this paper sorted out I get to start on a more fun endeavor which involves noted criminals such s "George Machine gun" Kelly, Linda Drouin from the Mansion Tate murders, leo Frank the only jew lynched in the south, Malcolm Little or Malcolm X, Michael Milken, and perhaps my favorite becuase he's local Charles Ponzi. These last two swindlers represent an american garden variety. I recall Dean, a fellow rugby player from South Africa worked over the BIWRFC fairly well in the mid-1990 before pulling his best move and then disappearing. He got me for a wallet, playing in springfield I left in it in my bag and was gone after. I am sure who it was after he set up an phony investment scheme, hooked some of the players and then left probably back to africa, certainly to join his Nigerian compu-scam friends. We've all scene the emails and flase lottery claims just send 2,000 $ us to retreive my 105. million Sterling which was lost when my dearest husband died in some such horrific accident
But I digress here. Refocusing what exactly do I need to write to get this first paper submitted and correct ? The bigger issue is what relevence are these above named folk to our current sate of being, economic and social.

3.22.fist blog

It's Sunday Morning on the Betsch Farm on the 22nd of March. I am looking to plow the field and put in squash at least maybe corn and beans. looking as I walked Nico this morning and the old chicken farm.I found a a license plate from 1961, rusted. Its sort of odd because thats when I was born and the plate was made the prison where I work. I am currently awaiting athroscopic surgery to repair miniscal damage with inmates. Yes indeed it can be a dangerous place. I noticed the last of the snow in the shadow of my barn that for now houses my tractor and maybe in the future mushroom nursery

Taxes are done. Lent is now more than half-way over and the buds are on the maples and both magnolias. My bees have survived the hardest part of a hard winter. The first year of bee keeping is always the most difficult, but then every years is tough when exposed to the elements. They looked hardy and robust when I checked at the thaw in late January and then again in February. I can't say that I was pleased when I saw the couple dozen dead ones just in front of the hive entrance. But I attribute this to an over-population and therefore the bees still inside have more honey and fondant to live on until spring actually blooms. On a warm day I can see bees everywhere especially on the lower right corner.
On with Spring !
